# Directions:
01 - Place chicken strips in a bowl and submerge in buttermilk. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
02 - In a shallow dish, combine all-purpose flour, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until evenly distributed.
03 - Remove chicken strips from buttermilk and dredge thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring complete coverage on all sides.
04 - Heat ½ inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to 350°F. Fry chicken strips in batches for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
05 - Combine honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Warm over low heat, stirring occasionally until blended, approximately 2-3 minutes. Do not boil.
06 - Transfer fried chicken strips to a large bowl and pour hot honey sauce over them. Toss thoroughly until all pieces are evenly coated.
