03 - ½ teaspoon salt
04 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
05 - ½ teaspoon paprika, optional

06 - 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
07 - 2 tablespoons honey
08 - 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

→ Wraps and Fillings

11 - 4 large flour tortillas
12 - 2 cups shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
13 - 1 medium tomato, sliced, optional
14 - ½ small red onion, thinly sliced, optional

# Directions:

01 - Preheat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle olive oil into the pan.
02 - Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook in the skillet for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes. Slice if desired.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper to create the honey-mustard dressing.
04 - Warm the tortillas for a few seconds in a dry skillet or microwave to make them pliable and easier to work with.
05 - Lay each tortilla flat and spread a generous spoonful of honey-mustard dressing down the center. Top with lettuce, chicken, tomato, and red onion if using. Drizzle additional dressing over the fillings.
06 - Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap. Slice in half and serve immediately.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together faster than ordering takeout and tastes twice as fresh.
  • The honey mustard dressing is so good you will want to put it on everything.
  • You can prep the chicken and dressing ahead and assemble wraps in under five minutes.
  • It works for lunch boxes, picnics, or those nights when no one wants to sit down for dinner.
02 -
  • Do not skip letting the chicken rest after cooking or the juices will run out when you slice it and make the wrap soggy.
  • Warm the tortillas or they will crack when you try to roll them, I learned this the hard way on wrap number one.
  • Make extra dressing because everyone will want more and you do not want to remix it mid meal.
03 -
  • Use a cast iron skillet if you have one, it gives the chicken a better sear and more flavor.
  • If your tortilla tears while rolling, warm it a bit longer or use a fresh one, a torn wrap is frustrating to eat.
  • Double the dressing recipe and keep it in a jar, it is amazing on salads, grain bowls, and roasted vegetables.
